WHO AM I?

I’m a prize-winning photographer specialising in digital images and prints. My work draws inspiration from found objects, architecture, engineering, and space. I picked up photography as a hobby in 2010 starting with an iPhone capturing everyday scenes. Now I primarily shoot black-and-white images using both analogue and digital cameras. I’m increasingly fascinated by traditional print techniques and exploring alternative photographic processes.

In 2014 I joined the Bath Photographic Society and recently completed a three-year term as President. Outside of photography and printing in my home studio or at Bath Spa University I am married to Sarah, cat dad to Bob and Jim and a Director of Project Design Management at Buro Happold. I’m also a long-time listener of Kermode and Mayo’s Take, I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue and a big fan of science fiction films and literature especially the great author Douglas Adams.
